Walk for Hope

A few weeks ago I sent out an e-mail to family/friends about sponsoring my little family and I in the "Walk for Hope" - - here's what I sent...see the link on the side for more info or for a direct link to my fundraising site:

On October 17th Dain, D and I will be participating in the Walk for Hope to benefit Mutual Ground - a shelter that provides free services to victims of domestic and sexual abuse.

Both Dain's family and my family have been affected by domestic abuse.
I am walking with "Team Andrea" a group formed in memory and honor of Dain's cousin who lost her life as a victim of domestic abuse.

Juicy Booty

Look at this kid!! I'm going to get crap from him someday when he's 13 for posting this to the world - but I. Mean. Really? Doesn't get much cuter...

This is little chunky-buns' new favorite thing after his bath. He stands at the rocking chair and rocks it - smiling and laughing and refusing to get dressed or allow us to brush his hair. So this is a nightly ritual.
However - last night - the chair was converted into a urinal.
(You do the math).

Time for Fall

This means a whole new season of HATS!!
(If you know me at ALL you know this thrills me).

I found several handmade hats on etsy that I'm going to have to get for D...or at least one. Here's the newest Autumn hat I decided on for him...I love Nightmare Before Christmas!

Costumes - Act II

Seriously - I'm going to have to get/make D like 300 costumes. I can't decide. I wanted to make one for him - but I have a bunch of other projects in the works for his first b-day so Grandma Susie has graciously offered to buy one for him.

Bathroom Confessional

Okay this proves that we have a VERY tiny bathroom and we're all three in it...

However - welcome to the world of clapping D. Sometimes he gets going so much when he's clapping that he slaps himself in the face.
Here's a current routine for him...doing something he finds really fun, then sitting down and applauding his own efforts...

Rumpus Time!!

Spike Jonze co-wrote and directed this upcoming movie based on another of my favorite stories of all time...should be AMAZING...I'm so excited!
